An old Description:  Oshki is a name of the medieval Georgian Monastery, located in hiistoric Tao, now in the province of Erzrum, Turkey. Main Church dedicated to John the Baptist was built in 963-973 by the Georgian King David III Bagrationi and his brother Buke Bagrat. Oshki Monastery church is a triapsed domed church of 10th c now abandoned and left without protection. Original sculptures are disappearing each year. Building needs conservation, the supportive system of the dome is damaged and it may collapse unless the immediate conversation works conducted.
